Common sense Coos County citizens must stand together to return to saner, more practical times in Coos County. Here are some ideas of what all adults can do to fight for a child's right to life, against the Gender Surrender agenda of our public schools, and to improve the leadership of all government offices locally.

  1. Check your party affiliation online to make sure you are still registered in your chosen party — Oregon Secretary of State "My Vote" portal.
  2. Take your ballot in physically to Coquille on 11-3-26 to help prevent mail fraud. (Would you ever send cash in the mail? Never. Too easy to be tampered with.)
  3. Know the differences between the Red and Blue party platforms. Gender Surrender and abortion are two issues which all common sense citizens must hold to strongly for our kids.
  4. Look up the voting record of your elected officials — Ballotpedia, Oregon Legislative Scorecards, Senate.gov voting archives, and the Oregon Legislative Web Portal.
  5. Attend Coos Bay City Council meetings at Coos Bay City Hall, 500 Central Avenue, on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm. The fourth Tuesday can be a work session, livestreamed. Upcoming: Sept 15th and 22nd, then Oct 6th, 20th and 27th, all at 6:00 pm.
  6. Attend North Bend City Council meetings at North Bend City Hall, 835 California Ave., the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm, with a work session the preceding Monday at 4:30 pm. Upcoming: Sept 7th at 4:30 pm, Sept 8th at 7:00 pm.
  7. Attend Coos County Commissioners meetings, held the first and third Tuesday of every month — executive session at 8:30 am followed by public session at 9:30 am, in the Owen Building at 201 N. Adams, Coquille. Upcoming: Sept 15th, Oct 6th and 20th, Nov 3rd and 17th.
  8. Attend the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay meeting, every third Thursday of the month at 11:00 am, 125 Central Avenue, Suite 230, Coos Bay. Upcoming: Sept 17th at 11:00 am.
  9. Attend a Coos County Republican meeting. Wednesday, September 9th: potluck at 5:30 pm, Sheriff's Forum at 6:00 pm, at 93677 Newport Lane, Coos Bay (near Abel Insurance). Call 541-982-6793 or visit www.coos.gop.
